Chroma includes codecs from the FFmpeg project. We've repackaged the libavcodec library from FFmpeg as a Mac OS X framework, and made it available below. The source is distributed under the Lesser GNU Public License version 2.1 (LGPL-2.1).

Mozilla

The subtitle text encoding autodetector in Chroma uses the Universal Charset Detector from the Mozilla project. It has been modified to be a Mac OS X framework, and the sourcecode is available below. The source is distributed under the Mozilla Public License (MPL-1.1).

To communicate with the AppleRemote remote control, Chroma uses the AppleRemote library by Martin Kahr.
